This weeks album review we will be taking a look at an artist who's been making a big impact as of late. With her hit single that dominated the charts last year, "Bodak Yellow". We are indeed talking about rapper, Cardi B. Cardi B a rapper coming out of The Bronx, who got her celebrity status and fame in her past career. As she left her past career she's been making music and has been gaining momentum and a big audience with her come up and reliability that makes her to be liked so much. With this big enough momentum and hype on her music with past mix tapes she was expected to drop her debut album, Invasion of Privacy which dropped on April 6 of this year. The album itself has 13 tracks with guest features from the likes of the Migos, YG, SZA, Chance The Rapper, and also from latin pop/trap/rap artists like Bad Bunny and J Balvin. Now before getting to the album songs, Id like to mention that I understand that Cardi is so well liked and very relatable as I hear, but I do got to admit I'm not the biggest fan of her, but I indeed can appreciate a good song or two here and there from her. Now to what I thought about the album, I actually was surprised from her because I enjoyed it more than expected. Some songs stood out more than others in my opinion like "Best Life" ft. Chance The Rapper, "She Bad" ft. YG, and "Be Careful". Those songs which I enjoyed the most, the aforementioned hit single Bodak Yellow was on the album as well which I didn't get because there was no point of incorporating that song on the album, when the song had already been certified platinum back in September of last year. Overall its good album I would recommend it to people who want to get into Cardi's music. While although I do got some gripes against the album, there not worth mentioning as the album is good enough for what it is in my opinion.
