Total Xanarchy

Welcome back from spring break hope y'all a good time off school but now that we are back we got to get back on the grind. But as we can see music industry doesn't take any breaks. Within these past few weeks we saw albums dropping left and right from the likes of Rich The Kid, Famous Dex, Cardi B, and Lil Xan. Lil Xan, whom today we are going to take a look at. Lil Xan or Diego as he now wants to go by, now that he has gained more media attention etc. is a 21 year old rapper out of Redlands, California. He's most know from his breakout single "Betrayed". Getting to the album 'Total Xanarchy' which throughout the build up and release of the album according to him, he wanted to spread awareness on people to stop using the drug Xanax, which is ironic this coming from a guy who named himself after the same drug... Anyways the album itself we see a 15 track project with a few features. We see appearances from the likes of 2 Chainz, YG, Rae Sremmurd, Yo Gotti and Rich  The Kid. Now to what I thought about the album itself well first off I want to say Im not the biggest fan of his music. I enjoyed some of the songs on here songs like the aforementioned "Betrayed", "Round Here" ft. YG, "The Man" ft. $teve Cannon and thats pretty much it. The rest of the songs are just repetitive copy and paste. I say this because we can see the song "Betrayed" part 2 in the song "Deceived" its basically the first song just the instrumental is reversed and slowed down and even the lyrics are somewhat the same, same flow same pattern its just too repetitive and lazy. As lazy as his voice sounds he says he doesn't take Xanax anymore but his voice says other wise. In songs like "Diamonds"and "Tick Tock" ft. 2 Chainz you can barely understand what he is saying. His voice sounds so slurred its hard to know what he's even talking about. Not like it matters because the lyrics on this project are very very forgetful, except for the skittles line I'm assuming.
